More than 150 machines

The Charlottetown gaming floor holds over 150 slots, both reel and video. The machines operate from 11 a.m. until 1 a.m. on Sunday to Wednesday, and from 11 a.m. until 2 a.m. on Thursday to Saturday. Holiday hours are left off the schedule Red Shores posts, so the main line, 902-620-4222, is where to confirm them.

Every slot outcome is completely random. No machine is ever "due", each spin carries an equal chance, and no ritual changes what the reels show.

Inside the Table Games room

Red Shores keeps a separate card room in Charlottetown for Baccarat, Blackjack and Ultimate Texas Hold'em. Sunday play starts at 12 p.m., Monday to Thursday play at 4 p.m., and Friday and Saturday play at 12 p.m. Poker tables open later: Thursday and Friday at 6 p.m., Saturday at 4 p.m. Roulette begins at 6 p.m. on each of Thursday, Friday and Saturday.

No closing hour is posted for any table; Red Shores marks every game as running "to close" and attaches no time to that. For Charlottetown, the venue names no electronic table games, no bingo and no keno, and gives no table count. Holiday hours are missing from the schedule too, so the main line at 902-620-4222 is the way to confirm them.

How the club card works

A Red Shores Rewards Club card costs nothing to get. The Rewards Club Desk on the Charlottetown casino floor issues it to adults 19 or older who present valid government-issued photo ID. For slot play, the card credits 1 point for each $2 put through a machine.

At the tables, points are based on time spent playing and the size of the typical wager, so the card is handed to the dealer first. After 12 consecutive months without use, the account is erased. Club questions go to Guest Services at 902-620-4266.
